Is it too early for me to be craving summer weather? As I am planning my little Lola’s upcoming birthday and running around all day, I realize how tedious it is to get us out the door… between the layers, winter accessories, and the toddler bag (a crucial item that will undoubtedly save us from any accidents this little person will entertain, particularly one so curious), it is a never-ending daily cycle of dressing, undressing, and adjusting safety straps. In my imagination, I transport us to the beach, enjoying tropical weather, dressed in brightly-colored summer dresses (or bathing suits) with one very light bag to carry. In lieu of my wishful thinking, here are some shots of the sandy beaches we visited in January during our time in Dominican Republic.
