Welcome to Lola & Tots! Here are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions to help clarify how our space works:

General Information

Yes! We offer 20% off your first month for any membership purchased using the code NEWMEMBER.

No, we are not a daycare. However, we adhere to all Department of Health regulations, and our space has been fully inspected and approved. We are in good standing with their requirements and protocols.

Primarily, our space is designed for children aged 0-4 years old. During school breaks, we also cater to children aged 4-7.

We start care at 12 months of age. Anyone under 12 months of age, must be accompanied by their caregiver at all times.

Absolutely! Our space is breastfeeding-friendly, and you are welcome to nurse anywhere on the premises.

Yes, our offices are first-come, first-served, and newborns are more than welcome to stay with you while you work.

Memberships & Care

If you book a co-working + care package or drop-in care: Parents must stay on the premises and work from our co-working space while their child is cared for upstairs.

If you book a drop-off session: Parents can leave the premises. Please note that we are only allowed two drop-off spots per day due to Department of Health regulations.

Important: We are not a daycare, which is why parents must stay unless it’s a designated drop-off session.

Care is available between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm. Memberships are flexible, allowing you to design a schedule that fits your needs. For example:

If you choose the Red Membership (60 hours/month), you could schedule care from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Friday (15 hours per week, 60 hours per month).

No. Open play bookings mean you are responsible for your child, and we do not provide supervision during these times.

Health & Safety

Children must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without medication before returning.

If your child has a severe cough or other contagious symptoms, please keep them home to avoid exposing other children.

Yes, you can use our EIN for your Flexible Spending Account. Please email us to request a receipt.

Facility Information

No. The co-working space is located downstairs, and the play area is upstairs.

We offer 3 offices, 14 desks, 1 conference room, and 2 phone booths.

Yes, we provide a refrigerator and cabinets where you can store your items.

Weekends are reserved for special events and birthday parties.

Additional Questions

Yes, we offer two drop-off spots per day. These must be pre-booked, and parents are not required to stay on-site for drop-offs.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm. Call to inquire about Saturday schedule which is dependent on special events and private parties. We are closed on Sundays.

Does my child have to wear socks?

All children must wear socks at all times, preferably with rubber grips to minimize accidents or injuries. If you forget socks at home, don’t worry… we have some cute ones for sale.

Do I need to accompany my child during their visit?

Children must be accompanied by parents and caretakers at all times during their visit. Applicable to open play, scheduled class sessions, and other special events.

Can my child visit if they are feeling under the weather?

In order to minimize illnesses from spreading, please keep all sick children home. We will be happy to welcome them to play once they are all better.

Do you have space to park my stroller?

Due to space constraints, we do not guarantee stroller parking or storage.

Can I take a class after visiting for open play time?

We highly encourage formal enrollment to class sessions, but dependent on class size and spots available, we might be able to add you to an enrichment class should you be interested in participating during your visit. Be sure to check out what’s available by visiting our REGISTER page.
